When personal photographs turn into art, powered by the meaning of Margiela codes.

Luxury ad campaign SCAD project for Maison Margiela.

Campaign 1: Living Imprints. Reading the Heritage.

Moment of dialogue between Tabi ankle wrap shoes, Mended dress and the model, who deeply reads into the pages of the book in the vintage setting.

Engaged in reading, the model is standing with one leg bent on a wooden bench, depicting the Tabi shoe sole, where the focal point is the signature split toe shoe.

The model stands facing away, in line with the brand’s principle of anonymity. All silhouette is showcased in the photo, including the Mended dress.

The intimacy is created between the moment of deep connection with the story- in a metaphoric sense, and story imprinted in the pages of the book.

Campaign 2: Living Imprints. Reading the Heritage. (Indoor setting)

Moment of dialogue between Tabi ankle wrap shoes, Mended dress and the model, who deeply reads into the pages of the book in a vintage indoor setting. Engaged in reading model is sitting on coach, emphasizing the Tabi shoe sole, where the focal point is the signature split toe shoe. The model sits with face covered by the book, in line with the brand’s principle of anonymity. Silhouette is slightly showcased in the photo, focal point is the worn shoe sole. The photo captures the moment of deep connection with the story behind worn shoes, and story imprinted in the pages of the book.

The shoes presented in the ad are worn, to accentuate the fact that they are “lived in”.

Campaign 3: Living Imprints.

A vibrant moment of dialogue between Tabi ankle wrap shoes, Mended dress and the model with a book covering the face. A story unfolds itself- you can notice slight Tabi footprints left by a model walking past the building. Turned sideways, boldly steps, grounding her feet wearing Tabi Ankle Wrap shoes and Mended dress. Monochromatic colors, high contrast depict the Tabi shoes, dress, and the low opacity footprint. Model’s face is covered by the book, in line with the brand’s principle of anonymity. The reflection in the window glass of a restaurant showcases a quiet neighborhood street in Paris.
